Live Painting Demo w/John DeFrancesco

John DeFrancesco, the renowned Front Range artist, will be painting live at the TLCA starting at noon on Saturday, June 8. He will demonstrate live painting techniques for approximately an hour and a half. Afterward, his painting will be auctioned off, thereby benefiting the lucky buyer and the TLCA.
John DeFrancesco’s painting demonstration will provide insight on composition, underpainting, limited color palette to achieve harmony, color selection to create mood/atmosphere, moderating chroma, values, manipulation of edges, glazing and scumbling, and brush/knife techniques.
