What Susie Rieple says about her vision and photography;
“Whenever I take a photo it is because the image is something, someone or someplace I want to remember – which is why I called my business All Over the Map – because in a way, I am…because I have been! ! So from images in Tuscany, to architecture in Paris, from Cape Town to Kenya, Hong Kong to Beijing, L’viv to Leningrad, I want to preserve that image… I want to keep that moment.”

“Light is the magic in every painting and photograph. To capture the glory that magic reveals is the charge, and the challenge of every photographer. Anything that has light and shadows catches my attention – that golden light in the evening, the morning sun breaking through the pines on a frosty morning. The light behind a cow’s head that highlights her ears, or fur…the frost on a barbed wire fence, or the reflection in the water of fishing boats. The light in the eyes…These are what pull me to the viewfinder.”
