Visions of Light (VOL) is a juried photographic exhibition that focuses on the photographer’s use of light as a fundamental approach to photography. The exhibition is sponsored and hosted by the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts in Palmer Lake, Colorado during the month of March, 2012. Tri- Lakes Center for the Arts is voted Non-Profit of 2010 by the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce. The mission of TLCA is to nurture emerging artists, demonstrate cultural creativity, and promote the fine arts and humanities.
The mission of the 2012 Visions of Light (VOL) exhibition is to challenge photographers to go beyond producing a technically correct photographic image and demonstrate their use and/or control of light to help define the subject. The light can be natural, manmade, or a combination that enhances the impact, drama, emotion, composition, and/or message of the image.
The VOL is a juried photographic exhibition sponsored and hosted by the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts (TLCA) in Palmer Lake, Colorado.
The show will be judged by:
